The campaign for marriage equality in Australia has found an official song in singer Cam Nacson and rapper L-FRESH The Lion's cover of Same Love.
The lyrics have been adapted to express frustration at the political stalling around same-sex marriage in Australia.
'My own Prime Minister can't even explain,' raps L-FRESH. 'We ask her the question, she just turns away. They're too afraid to lose their voters come election day - lost sight of the goal to rid the world of hate. But Julia, remember back in the day when women couldn't vote because they were born that way.'
Singer Nacson said:
'As a musician I feel like we have a responsibility to stand up for what's right. Music is a great tool for getting ideas out, in this case that it's okay for men to marry men and women to marry women - when people share music it is like sharing an idea as well.'
Australian Marriage Equality national director, Rodney Croome, said:
'Same Love Australia uses the power of music to send a direct plea to our national leaders - marriage equality can no longer be delayed or deferred.
'This landmark music video is a reminder that Australia is part of a bigger world moving inexorably to equality.'
