Canadian police have begun a manhunt for a bisexual porn star wanted in connection with the gruesome discovery of severed body parts which were mailed to different parts of the country.

Luka Rocco Magnotta, 29, is now an official suspect in a murder investigation which began when a blood-soaked package containing a human foot was delivered to the offices of Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Conservative Party on Tuesday (29 May).

The second package, containing a hand, was found by police on Tuesday night.

The same day, a man’s torso was found dumped behind an apartment in Montreal, which Magnotta is believed to have been renting.

Other dismembered body parts were found inside and the apartment is now an official crime scene.

Montreal police said other body parts may have been mailed and they believe the victim and suspect knew each other, reported the National Post.

Police in the city are calling on the public to help them find the adult film actor, who is also known as Eric Clinton Newman and Vladimir Romanov.

A gruesome video which allegedly shows the suspect brutally killing and sexually assaulting a naked man has also emerged on a Canadian website and police are investigating the footage.

Magnotta has been the subject of grisly internet rumors before, previously being shown in YouTube videos allegedly suffocating kittens and feeding one to a python.
