Bruce Jenner wants to have his Adam’s Apple shaved but that doesn’t mean he wants to become a woman.

The 1976 Olympic Gold Medalist in the decathlon, better known these days as the stepfather to the Kardashian sisters, met with a plastic surgeon this week to discuss what is known as a Laryngeal Shave, according to TMZ.com.

The procedure essentially flattens a man’s Adam’s Apple and is typically done as one of the first steps in transitioning from male to female.

‘I just never liked my trachea,’ Jenner tells TMZ which captured him on video leaving the plastic surgeon’s office in Beverly Hills. He wore a white baseball cap and his long hair in a pony tail.

Jenner tells TMZ he consulted the surgeon on the Laryngeal Shave but it was only as part of a visit to discuss surgery on his nose because a scar had been left when he had a basal cell carcinoma removed.

Jenner, 64, is separated from his third wife Kris Jenner with whom he has two teen daughters. Kris Jenner had four children with first husband Robert Kardashian.

Jenner, who regularly appears on the reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, has four other children from two earlier marriages.
