Darren Criss covers Madonna for Fashion’s Night Out
27 August 2012

Glee star Darren Criss wants to dress you up for Fashion’s Night Out, the international shopping event aiming to raise awareness of AIDS.

Criss, who stars as gay character Blaine in the hit musical comedy show, sings Madonna’s 1985 classic Dress You Up in the promotional video.

Joining Criss for the video is teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, rapper Usher, and country singer Taylor Swift.

The celebrities are there to persuade you to part with your cash on 6 September and hopefully buy an official t-shirt, in which 40% of the proceeds go towards the New York City AIDS Fund.

Dreamed up by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, stores will stay open all over the world with musicians, designers and models making special appearances.

It is not the first time Glee has been called upon for the event. The whole cast took part in a music video where Lea Michele sang David Bowie’s Fashion.

A complete listing of events, organized by city and store or type of event, can be found at FashionsNightOut.com
