Gay-themed Thor: The Dark World poster made by fan accidentally used by Shanghai cinema

Image features Chris Hemsworth cuddling with co-star Tom Hiddleston

Thor wrapping his big strong arms and hammer around a man?

That's the image on an unauthorized poster accidentally used at a Shanghai theater advertising this week's release of Thor: The Dark World.

Fans of the franchise knew something was amiss at first glance.

The superhero, played by Chris Hemsworth, would certainly never be so physically affectionate with his villainous brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and their cuddle in the poster is more than brotherly.

The doctored photo is from an image in which Thor is seen protecting scientist Jane Foster played by Natalie Portman.

bbqfish2012, who designed the image, wrote on her Weibo: 'Damn it! If I were paid 1 yuan each time the photo is retweeted, I would be rich.'

The film opens this weekend. The first Thor movie was released in 2011 and grossed more than $449 million worldwide. Hemsworth also played the role in 2012's The Avengers.

It's an art of expression, but did the movie creators, those involved in the movie as well for those featured artist, didn't they feel offended about this? I don't think Shanghai Cinema displayed this poster accidentally, it is very broad that the movie theme is all about warriors and challenges over a sci-fiction, so how come they have this type of poster, every viewer, nor those people see this poster aren't insensitive to express what they most likely see in this poster, and in fact it will result to some demands which will not give good credits to the movie and the cinema itself. I am not into any anti-group, I am sensitive when it comes to this matter, the reality always makes us good one for better living, we do not need to destroy credibility of one thing over the interest of others. Just like my friend Jeff who was now a consultant of, he is openly gay, and he always see everything on the right side and in place, not putting something on a place where not even fit.
