ABC’s Happy Endings, the Chicago-set sitcom that follows the intertwined lives of six young urbanites, already has a gay character in slacker manchild Max who is played by Adam Pally.

Now it turns out that another person in the tight-knit group is also attracted to the same sex.

TVLine.com reported Thursday (18 September) that control freak Jane (played by Eliza Coupe) has a lesbian past.

Jane is married to yuppie Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) who apparently is going to be mighty uncomfortable with the fact that his wife once had a girlfriend.

And that girlfriend will be played by Briga Heelan of the sitcom Cougar Town which has moved from ABC to TNT. She will appear in the 10th episode of the show’s third season which will begin 23 October.
