It's Rosie versus Letterman

O'Donnell accuses fellow talk show host of being 'anti-gay' and 'anti-tow truck driver'

Rosie O'Donnell is accusing fellow talk show host David Letterman of being 'anti-gay' and 'anti-tow truck driver' in her latest high-profile television feud.

O'Donnell is offended by a joke Letterman made about her and fiancee Michelle Rounds during a monologue on CBS's The Late Show earlier this week.

Said Letterman: 'The woman she is marrying, her fiancee, was driving…and her car broke down. And guess what happened? Rosie pulls up right behind her in her tow truck.'

O'Donnell, who famously feuded with Donald Trump and her co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck during her combative days on ABC's The View, is now hosting The Rosie Show on the Oprah Winfrey Network and used that platform to strike right back at Letterman.

During her monologue airing tonight (the show is taped in advance), O'Donnell said: 'Not only do you appear to be anti-gay, you're anti-tow truck driver and that just pisses me off.'

She also wondered why Letterman would make fun of her and Rounds with such a stereotypical joke about lesbians.

'Why is that Dave? Why? I don't remember making fun of you when you had sex with all your interns! I didn't do that,' O'Donnell said, referring to Letterman's 2009 scandal where it was revealed he had had sex with several of his female employees. 'I didn't make fun of your rampant, throbbing heterosexuality, did I Dave?'

'Dave, when you had that heart surgery, you shouldn't have told the doctors to take out that whole thing,' she added. 'I remember when you had one, Dave, you were nice then.'

While Letterman has finally topped rival Jay Leno in the ratings race in recent weeks, The Rosie Show has struggled.
