It’s not like Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy planned on locking lips.

But they did it!

During the Fox network’s presentations at the TV Critics Association press tour in Pasadena this week, Bacon and Purefoy were asked about their undeniable chemistry on the new show The Following which will premiere 21 January.

A critic told the actors that they have so much chemistry on the show that in one scene she wanted them to just start kissing.

Said Bacon: ‘Anything could happen.’

He then leaned in and gave each other a kiss.

Said Purefoy after: ‘Rule nothing in, rule nothing out.’
