Bisexual pop singer Lady Gaga has confirmed she will release a jazz record.

The 26-year-old ‘You and I’ singer will collaborate with legendary 86-year-old crooner Tony Bennett on the album, which currently has no release date.

The two worked together on Bennett’s duets album for the 1937 swing show tune ‘Lady Is A Tramp’.

‘And here’s me and my handsome date, I simply cannot wait for our album together, he’s my darling’, Gaga tweeted, along with a picture of herself and Bennett.

The jazz singer joined her on stage at the White House Staff Ball earlier this week, which took place to celebrate President Barack Obama’s inauguration.

She performed stripped-down piano versions of her hits, including ‘Born This Way’.

Gaga is also preparing to release her next studio album ARTPOP, which is due to be released in spring 2013.
