Matt Dallas comes out, announces engagement
Actor is best known for playing title role in ABC Family series Kyle XY
Matt Dallas, best known for his years as the star of the ABC Family series Kyle XY, has announced his engagement to a man on Twitter.
Dallas, 30, had never before publicly confirmed that he is gay.
The actor told his more than 40,000 Twitter followers: 'Starting off the year with a new fiancé, @bluehamilton. A great way to kick off 2013!'
The fiance is Los Angeles-based musician Brandon Blue Hamilton (professionally known as Blue) whose Twitter handle is actually @BlueJamesMusic.
Blue, 25, was named Atlanta's Hottest New Producer and one to watch for in X-Poszed Magazine.
After a three-year run on Kyle Xy, Dallas starred in the short-lived ABC series Eastwick. His most recent film was the 2012 western Wyatt Earp's Revenge.
