While the rest of One Direction partied at V Festival at the weekend, Zayn Malik was seen at G-A-Y nightclub in London on Saturday.

Malik, 19, was at the club supporting Little Mix band member and girlfriend Perrie Edwards.

She was singing with the rest of the girl group to celebrate the launch of their second single ‘Wings’.

One Direction have recently returned from touring in Canada and Malik was spotted sneaking into the club via the back entrance.

The pair have been a couple since meeting on the video shoot for a charity Christmas single ‘Wishing On A Star’ that One Direction and Little Mix collaborated on last year.

Jeremy Joseph, G-A-Y boss, tweeted a photo of Malik and himself in the club and told Gay Star News: ‘I didn’t know he was going to be there before he turned up but it was nice to see Zayn supporting his girlfriend and he was a laugh, really funny.

‘People were doing double takes when they say him by the side of the stage, there were nudging each other and going “Look who it is! Look who it is.”

‘We’ve had them here twice before and they are really nice guys, last time they were here they had a cake fight on stage.’

Little Mix were the winners of last year’s UK X Factor, while One Direction were formed and came third in the 2010 competition, behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle.

Gay rumors have dogged the group the group this year and on both sides of the Atlantic, with much speculation that Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles are secretly a couple after images of them hugging appeared online.

However, both boys have denied these rumors saying they are just best friends.

Tomlinson was seen at V Festival last weekend with his girlfriend Eleanor Calder and Styles was spotted at a party in London.
