More than 80% of gay men and lesbians in Taiwan want to be able to get married, according to a new poll by Taiwan AIDS Foundation released yesterday.
The poll also found that 84% of respondents see their ideal relationship as ‘long-term, stable and exclusive’.
Sadly the reality doesn’t match up with the ideal, with only 39% of respondents saying they are in a relationship that has lasted longer than a year.
Most of the 2,045 respondents were aged 20 to 29, as reported by Focus Taiwan News Channel.
