Paris Hilton has shocked her gay fans by claiming ‘most’ gay men ‘probably have AIDS’ during a taxi ride conversation.
As RadarOnline reports, the audio was recorded by a taxi driver on 7 September in New York.
During a conversation with a friend about Grindr, the popular dating app for gay men, she said: ‘Gay guys are the horniest people in the world…they’re disgusting.
‘Dude, most of them probably have AIDS.’
After the friend briefly described a gay man’s use of the app to find casual sex, the heiress added: ‘I would be so scared if I was a gay guy,…you’ll, like, die of AIDS.’
A publicist for Hilton quickly released a statement about the tape.
TMZ reports the representative saying: ‘Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life-threatening disease.
‘The conversation became heated, after a close gay friend told her in a cab ride about a gay man who has AIDS and is knowingly having unprotected sex.
‘As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those sorts of people promoting themselves on the site.’
Stressing it was only a snippet of the conversation, the publicist said: ‘Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.’
Hilton is not the only celebrity to find themselves in hot water with the gay community this week.
On 16 September, gay actor Rupert Everett said he could ‘not think of anything worse than gay parents.’

I've had clients let me know that their mom collected Gucci Handbags and they've continued with the custom. These types of women have stated they feel confident carrying a Gucci tote from the 1970's. You clearly can't debate the timelessness of some of these masterpieces Gucci Online Outlet.
If you're haven't owned a Gucci bag and therefore are hoping to get one, then you definitely might be feeling a little overcome as to which Gucci style to get. Here are a few of the Gucci custom bags customers coming for over and over. A number of them are very current, although some are from another decade. In either case, they have that wonderful originality that you know is Gucci Factory Outlet.
This is an embarrassingly inaccurate and biased article from GayStarNews. Your headline totally misquotes Ms Hilton. If you listen to the recorded conversation you can hear that she is shown a handful of guys and then says they probably have aids. I'd say that's a fair comment to make about the people that lurk on mobile dating apps, and a comment I've heard plenty of gay people make too so don't feign offence to make headlines. Just wow. Stay classy GSN.
