Pastor: Schools teaching ‘how to be a homo’ caused Sandy Hook shooting

American preacher says schools teaching evolution led to the death of 20 schoolchildren and six adults
A American pastor says schools are to blame for teaching kids 'how to be a homo'.

An American pastor has blamed the mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, on schools because they are teaching kids about evolution and ‘how to be a homo’.

Pastor Sam Morris, from Tennessee, says the removal of ‘Christian values’ from American classrooms was to blame for wave of gun murders.

On 14 December, Adam Lanza shot 20 children and six adults dead in a school after killing his mother. He then turned the gun on himself.

Morris said the ‘humanism’ taught in schools instilled the Sandy Hook gunman with the belief he was God and could ‘just go blow away anybody he wants’.

‘I want to tell you what evolution teaches, here’s the bottom line, that you’re an animal. That’s what it teaches. So, you’re an animal, you can act like an animal. Amen,’ Morris said.

‘So here you are, you’re an animal and you’re a god. So what are we going to teach you about in school?’

He added: ‘Well, we can teach you about sex, we can teach you how to rebel against your parents, we can teach you how to be a homo!

‘But we’re definitely not going to teach you about the word of God! Amen.’

Referring to abortion, Morris said people get all ‘up in arms’ about 20 children being shot in a day car but don’t give ‘one good-glory rip’ about the 4000 abortions that happen every day.

‘I believe they use children and Christmas and all that to pull on our heart strings about gun control,’ he said. ‘That’s what it’s all about.’

His comments follow right-wing pundit Bryan Fischer who said we should not be surprised because Americans ‘kicked God out of schools’.

The Westboro Baptist Church, the anti-gay religious hate group, also said they would picket the shooting site with their ‘God Hates Fags’ signs.

On 21 December, Connecticut paid tribute to the 26 dead with a minute’s silence.
