Popular Russian TV actor: ‘Burn gay people alive’
Ivan Okhlobystin, who stars on a sitcom inspired by US TV show Scrubs, has demanded 'faggots' be stripped of their human rights
A Russian actor has caused outrage by saying he wants to ‘burn gay people alive’.
Ivan Okhlobystin, who stars in the Russian version of US medical sitcom ‘Scrubs’, has said he would have all of the LGBTI community in the country killed if it was up to him.
‘I’d put them all alive in the oven…it’s a living danger to my children,’ Okhlobystin said, according to RIA Novosti.
Speaking with fans in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk, the father of six went on an extended rant about ‘gay fascism’.
He demanded ‘faggots’ be stripped of their voting rights as they are a ‘psychical anomaly’.
Okhlobystin, who made a short-lived bid for the presidency in 2011, campaigned on the policy of putting up a new Iron Wall around Russia to start a campaign of ‘cleansing’ and ‘rebuilding the Russian nation’.
His show ‘Interns’, inspired by the Zach Braff sitcom Scrubs, was rated as Russia’s most popular TV show in 2012.
