Although speculation over Rihanna’s sexuality has come up many times in the past, after Tweeting ‘I’m on my first date in almost 2 yearz,’ Rihanna was spotted this week holding hands with another woman.

The woman in question was longtime friend, Melissa Forde, to which Rihanna made no secret of their meeting, following her tweet with ‘#datenight my lover for the night @mforde11’ and ‘2night is gon’ be a good one, I could feel it!’

Wearing a loose-fitting white dress complete with a red garter belt underneath, the two were spotted getting dinner at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi, Malibu, before continuing the fun at the Roxbury nightclub in Hollywood. Forde wore black.

Although Rihanna has always been vocal about her close friends, there has been a great deal of speculation over her relationship with Forde before.

According to Radar Online, both the world-famous singer and her friend have matching tattoos that read, ‘Never a failure, always a lesson.’

In January, reports surfaced that a model named Natajah Burton was writing a book about her affair with the 24-year-old singer.
