See today’s gay kiss on Days of Our Lives

The first same-sex kiss in the history of the long-running NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives took place on today's (23 February) episode.

Teenager Will Horton, played by Emmy nominee Chandler Massey, makes out with a guy named Neil (played by Jesse Kristofferson) who he met while out with friends.

As Massey indicated to Gay Star News earlier this week, the kiss was actually a makeout session. It was still going on when the episode ended and is expected to resume tomorrow. It was witnessed by Will's gay friend, Sonny, who he had not yet come out to.

Massey tells Gay Star News that even though Will clearly enjoys hooking up with Neil, it doesn't mean he is ready to accept being gay.

'It’s one step forward and two steps back,’ he says. ‘He retreats. But this does mark a turning point because the kiss is witnessed by Sonny. So this is the point of no return.’
