Severed head confirmed as victim of bisexual porn star murder

Final missing body part found in Canadian park confirmed to belong to Jun Lin
It has been confirmed by Canadian police that Jun Lin's head was found in a Canadian park.

Canadian police have confirmed a severed head found in a city park belongs to the Chinese student who was allegedly dismembered and cannibalized by his porn actor lover.

The head of Jun Lin was the final missing body part after 29-year-old Luka Magnotta reportedly murdered, dismembered and mailed his body parts to political parties and schools.

Police found the head in Montreal’s Park Angrignon, a few miles from Magnotta’s apartment, on 1 July.

Investigators were led to the park after receiving a tip from an anonymous source, according to police spokeswoman Anie Lemieux.

Magnotta has pleaded not guilty to charges including first-degree murder, criminal harassment of the Prime Minister, interfering with a dead body and mailing and publishing obscene materials.

After fleeing Canada, he was briefly placed on Interpol’s most wanted list until he was picked up by authorities in a Berlin internet cafe on 4 June and extradited back to North America.

Investigators say Magnotta filmed himself on the night of 24 May using a pickaxe to kill his victim, who was studying computer science in Montreal.

Lin’s headless, limbless torso was found in a suitcase behind the apartment where the bisexual porn actor lived.

It is likely the case will be in court for one or two years, and the prosecutors have told the victim’s family to have faith in the Canadian justice system.
