The Toronto Triggerfish water polo team want to send a strong and shady message to their competition.
As reigning champs, they’re preparing for the 2017 International Gay Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) as part of World OutGames Miami not by doing push ups, but by psyching out the competition with a tongue-in-cheek new video.
Shot in downtown Toronto, the video features sexy Speedos along a sassy docklands catwalk.
The fabulous drag queen star of the video strips off her clothes, throwing each article of clothing onto various competitors.
It’s a direct jab at water polo teams from Salt Lake City, Melbourne, Boston, and Sydney.
Club president (and diva of the video) Shih-Ming Yao told Gay Star News: ‘When I first moved to Toronto from London, I wasn’t sure how long I would stay.
‘But cut to four years later and here I am, still loving it – one of the main reasons is this team I now call family.
‘Not all families let you wear gold heels and a speedo,’ Yao said.
The Triggerfish started out 15 years ago as a small team and has grown to over 120 members.
In 2016, the Triggerfish won both recreational and competitive divisions at the IGLA championships in Edmonton, Canada.
