Adele obviously hit the scene several years after the release of Brokeback Mountain, the Oscar-nominated film that told the story of a forbidden and secretive relationship between two cowboys and their lives over the years.

Those cowboys were Ennis, played by the late Heath Ledger, and Jack, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. The 2005 movie has a sad and tragic end that somehow seems even more tragic because of Ledger's death three years later.

Adele's Someone Like You is paired with scenes from the film in this moving video. Since being posted on Sunday (12 March), it has received more than 16,000 views.
