A Scottish woman is being accused of circulating a nude picture of a florist because of his sexuality.

Craig Kirkwood, 31, used a photo of himself posing naked with a bunch of flowers to promote his shop With Love in Paisley, west Scotland, days before it opened.

But that same image, it is claimed, was then used on flyers posted through doors of neighboring businesses with the words changed to homophobic insults.

Fiona Meikle, 54, is alleged to have delivered the leaflets. She denies the charge, according to Paisley Evening Times.

In acting in the manner described, it is claimed, she behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm.

She was released on bail with special conditions in place requiring her to stay away from Kirkwood and his place of work.

The trial continues.
