X-Factor star Lucy Spraggan was attacked and beaten leaving a concert with her wife in a leading gay resort in the UK.
Two women ambushed the 2012 reality TV show star, leaving Spraggan with scratches and bruises on Thursday (16 March) night.
The attackers also pulled out clumps of her hair.
The singer-songwriter posted pictures of herself clutching the torn out hair on social media and praised the police for making arrests.
She said: ‘Was attacked tonight after the show in Brighton, along with my guitarist and wife.
‘Sussex Police have been amazing and are pursuing a charge.
‘Got a bit of whiplash and a few bruises but we’re all good.
‘Scary shit, man.
‘Be safe out there!’
Police were called and the lesbian couple told officers that they had been attacked in the street by strangers.
Two women from London were arrested today (19 March) and interviewed about the attack, police confirmed.
It is understood the attackers were released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Fans of Spraggan sent messages of support on social media.
One posted: ‘So sorry to hear that. You don’t deserve it you are all amazing people. Much love.’
Another wrote: “Ohmygod! Some human beings are just downright disgusting!
