The American television network ABC Family has released an exclusive new promo for its upcoming show  ‘The Fosters’.

The show, which is produced by singer Jennifer Lopez, will center around school vice principal Lena, her police officer partner Stef, and their children.

The Fosters will become one of the only primetime shows in America to feature a female gay couple raising children, following in the footsteps of pro-gay but male-oriented shows Modern Family, The New Normal and Will & Grace.

Sandy Rios of the anti-gay American Family Association warned that ‘homosexual advocacy’ is ‘raping children’ in school and that Bill and Hillary Clinton support gay marriage because they are either bi or even gay.

Speaking on American Family Radio on Friday (22 March) Rios reacted to recent polls showing young people support marriage equality.

She said this was due to the media brainwashing children to hear ‘nothing but positive things about homosexuality and its effects’.

An American pastor who is currently on trial for crimes against humanity in Uganda has taken a step further in his war against gay people.

Scott Lively, who supports the African country’s ‘Kill The Gays’ bill, gave an interview with Sandy Rios of the American Family Association a day after appearing in court.

He claimed Noah’s Biblical flood was punishment from God for the ‘writing of wedding songs to homosexual marriage.’

A right-wing US pundit has accused gay people of using the Christmas holidays to further their ‘agenda’.

American Family Associations’ Sandy Rios said she had ‘exposed’ the left’s plan to set crucial legislation around the break.

The anti-gay radio show host said true Americans who ‘care about Christmas’ are the same ones who do not want gay marriage to be legalized.

‘It’s interesting how the left pushes this stuff, so much of this always comes down to Christmas,’ Rios said, Right Wing Watch reports.

A far right-wing anti-gay pundit has said 20 young schoolchildren died because God is ‘no longer welcome’ in the classroom.

Referring to the tragic event in Connecticut on Friday (14 December), American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer said it could have been prevented if a prayer for ‘Christian values’ started each school day.

Speaking on his radio show Focal Point, Fischer said: ‘You know the question is going to come up, “where was God? I thought God cared about the little children. Where was God when all this went down?”

Retail chain ignored critics and kept Ellen DeGeneres as its spokesperson

JC Penney took some heat from anti-gay group OneMillionMoms, a subgroup of American Family Association, when it hired Ellen DeGeneres as its spokesperson earlier this year.

Then they were in the group's crosshairs again for first featuring lesbians in its catalog then later two gay dads. Despite being threatened with boycott, the chain held firm and did not change any of its advertising materials.

Now, instead of being boycotted by its foes, the company is being celebrated by its friends.

Teri Polo, who is best known for appearing in the Ben Stiller comedy Meet The Parents, and Sherri Saum, who starred in TV series Gossip Girl, will play the leads.

The project tells the story of Stef, played by Polo, and Lena, played Saum, who are a mixed-race couple raising a biological son along with several adopted children.

Anti-gay group One Million Moms have lashed out at ABC for greenlighting Jennifer Lopez's lesbian drama The Fosters.

The subgroup of the American Family Association said the US television station have 'lost their minds' after approving the J-Lo developed series which will focus on two overworked mothers, a police officer and a private school teacher, who have a biological son and two adopted kids.

In its latest homophobic rant, One Million Moms call for ABC to drop the project and urge advertisers to boycott the network.

The Log Cabin Republicans, the American right-wing gay organization, has called their party’s platform on equality ‘ugly and harmful’.

After vising the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, the LCR hoped they would be able to change party policy.

Four gay members were allowed to shape the GOP’s platform, attempting to make the party more inclusive and deleting anti-gay language.

However the Log Cabin’s dreams for equality were dashed when the Republican platform revealed their stance on marriage.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy’s new NBC series The New Normal will not be shown by the network’s Utah affiliate KSL-TV because of its gay content.

Owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the CEO Jeff Simpson said the show which features a gay couple does not match up to its ‘brand’.

‘From time to time we may struggle with content that crosses the line in one area or another,’ Simpson said. ‘The dialogue may be excessively rude and crude. The scenes may be too explicit or the characterizations might seem offensive.

A prominent right-wing American pundit has defended his comments calling for kidnapping children of gay parents, saying it is 'God's law'.

Brian Fisher believes children being raised by same-sex couples are at such risk of being molested that all must be put into state care

American Family Association spokesman Brian Fisher has taken to the airwaves to demand that gay and lesbian parents have their children taken away from them, and says they should only be allowed to see them on supervised visits to stop them from molesting them.

Speaking on his Focal Point radio show on American Family Radio on Monday, Fisher suggested gays were at such risk of molesting children in their care that even their own biological children should be stripped from them.
