'I wish we had the show the first year that we ended up with the second year'

If Anderson Cooper had to do it all over again, his foray into daytime talk shows would have been more Live With Kelly and Michael from the start than a pale imitation of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Cooper's show, Anderson Live! was canceled last fall during the early weeks of its second season. But since that time, it has found its groove with a live format and a rotating array of guest co-hosts including Andy Cohen, Kathy Griffin and Kristin Chenoweth.

Kathy Griffin didn't drop an f-bomb during CNN's live New Year's coverage. She also didn't try and take her clothes off and she didn't scream down to a heckler that she wasn't trying to 'knock dicks out of your mouth.'

No, that was all in past years.

This year, the sixth year she teamed with Anderson Cooper for the telecast, the red-headed comic merely tried to simulate giving oral sex to Cooper.

'Did you drop something,' Cooper said to Griffin as she was down on her knees.
