'I wish we had the show the first year that we ended up with the second year'

If Anderson Cooper had to do it all over again, his foray into daytime talk shows would have been more Live With Kelly and Michael from the start than a pale imitation of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Cooper's show, Anderson Live! was canceled last fall during the early weeks of its second season. But since that time, it has found its groove with a live format and a rotating array of guest co-hosts including Andy Cohen, Kathy Griffin and Kristin Chenoweth.

The Party Python is made of gummy and feeds up to 300 people

Did you ever think you’d see the day when two openly gay men would be taking bites out of a giant gummy python snake on US broadcast television?

It happened this week on the daytime talk show Anderson Live! when host Anderson Cooper’s pal Andy Cohen guest hosted and the two opened a box that contained what is known as ‘The Party Python.’

'The Party Python? That's a foreign film,' Cooper joked after removing the 26-pound snake out of a box.

It can feed up to 300 people, costs $150 and if you eat the whole thing, you’ve ingested 136,000 calories.

'I spent most of the concert in a stall, rocking back and forth'

Don't expect to ever see Eddie Murphy as a guest on Bravo's Watch What Happen Live hosted by Andy Cohen.

In his new memoir, Most Talkative, the openly gay Cohen shares a traumatic experience he had in high school when he and his friends went to see Murphy in concert during his days on Saturday Night Live.

'Unfortunately, his live routine differed from his television shtick; namely in that it mostly consisted of ridiculing gay people,' Cohen writes. 'Every other word out of his mouth was 'faggot' and with each and every gay joke, the crowd went wild.'

On Sunday, the show transitioned to a five-nights-a-week affair and has installed a full bar on the set as part of the expansion.
