Gay Star News has surveyed the world’s gay men to get an insight into how they start their day

It may sound slightly trivial, but I’m always fascinated by what people eat, how they make decisions about food and what are some of the assumptions that people are making about the food that they’re eating.

This week I’ve surveyed 100 gay men around the world to find our what they have for breakfast. It may not be the most rigorous of studies, but it’s a pretty strong sample of gay men primarily in the 25 to 45 age bracket and a good mix of global locations including the US, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, France, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium.

London is packed with some of the world’s most famous sites but as we get ready for the Olympics and World Pride, we don’t want to overlook its secrets

All eyes will be on London this summer as the British capital hosts World Pride, which Gay Star News has partnered with, and the Olympics.

Many of the images will be predictable. Few cities have so many globally famous icons as London. I was at an event at the top of Tower Bridge on Wednesday (21 March) and was told the bridge is one of the world’s top 10 most recognizable landmarks. Big Ben (or St Stephen’s Clock Tower for pedants) is also on the list.

Utensils for everyday life get a much needed novelty sparkle

My kitchen is incredibly dull. After all, there’s only so much stainless steel you can take.

When you’re slaving away washing the pots and pans among the soap bubbles, a different sponge can make all the difference.

That’s why GSN is in love with Noki’s new products, especially a washing-up sponge featuring our very own diva.

Wearing an elegant designer (we’re pretty sure) red dress, bold silver sunglasses and an amazing afro, this sponge will be the star of your sink.
