Marriage is not about me, me, me but a bond between two people who are in love and want to show the world their commitment to each other.

This is a something the opponents of gay marriage – religious or otherwise – do not seem to grasp. It’s why gay marriage is important and necessary, so we can be equal to our heterosexual friends and companions.

Rylan Clark secretly leaves the Celebrity Big Brother house to go to X Factor rehearsals, former contestant Gillian Taylforth has claimed.

The shocking expose was made during an interview with the ex-EastEnders actress on Channel 5 talk show The Wright Stuff (21 January).

She said: 'Rylan went out to do X Factor rehearsals for the tour he's doing, for X factor, and when he came back, obviously he wasn't allowed to talk to anybody, but when he came back he'd just ask somebody the time very quickly, like the driver.

The establishment of an LGBT friendly mosque in France has been condemned by authorities in Malaysia

One of Malaysia’s top politicians has warned Muslims to be wary about the spread of homosexuality following the establishment of an LGBT friendly mosque in France.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mashitah Ibrahim said homosexuality was a major transgression in Islam and what was being practiced in Europe should not be emulated in Malaysia.

'Daybreak' showbiz reporter is kicked out of the British reality dancing competition show

Gay showbiz reporter Richard Arnold is the latest celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing.

The ‘Daybreak’ TV host and his dance partner Erin Boag left the British dancing competition after finishing in the bottom two alongside Westlife singer Nicky Byrne and newcomer professional Karen Hauer.

Both couples performed their routines for a second time in the dance-off in the Wembley Arena special.

Arnold performed his salsa to Wham!’s Club Tropicana, and Byrne jived to Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock.

Gay showbiz reporter and television host Richard Arnold has survived the Strictly Come Dancing dance-off for the second time tonight (4 November).

Filmed yesterday, Arnold and his professional partner Erin Boag won a dance-off against actor Colin Salmon and Kristina Rihanoff in the British reality show results.

Arnold forgot his foxtrot when he performed it the first time on Saturday.

‘When you say dance again, it’ll really be the first time,’ he said before dancing in the results show. ‘It’s very tough going out there again. ‘

Gay band Scissor Sisters perform 'Let's Have A Kiki' on the British reality results show

Gay showbiz reporter and television host Richard Arnold will live to waltz another day as he survived the Strictly Come Dancing dance-off tonight (14 October).

Filmed yesterday, Arnold and his professional partner Erin Boag faced television legend and 74-year-old Johnny Ball and newcomer Iveta Lukosiute in the British reality show results.

Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman saved Arnold and Boag based on the fact there was more content in the couple's cha cha cha.

British comedian David Walliams claims X Factor creator Simon Cowell will never shake off rumors that he is gay.

The star worked with the 53-year-old music mogul as a judge on TV show Britain's Got Talent and the pair have since become friends.

'I work with Simon Cowell and a lot of people say he’s gay,' Walliams said, reported The Daily Star.

'It will follow him until the day he dies, but what’s the point of worrying about it?'

Ukraine is considering calls for SpongeBob and other 'gay' children's TV characters to be banned.

The Eastern European country's National Expert Commission for Protecting Public Morality is considering a report published on Catholic website 'Family Under the Protection of the Holy Virgin' that claims that the popular children’s TV show promotoes homosexuality and is damaging to children.

The first British X Factor winner wishes a Daily Mail columnist had HIV.

Steve Brookstein, who won the first X Factor series in 2004, tweeted today: ‘All those people with HIV and not one of them is called Dan Wootton.'

Wootton is an openly gay entertainment commentator from New Zealand, often appearing on Sky News and Xtra Factor as well as having a column in right-wing tabloid newspaper the Daily Mail.

Duo reunite for CGI adaption of an Oscar Wilde classic

Comedy duo Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie will reunite after 13 years for CGI animated film The Canterville Ghost, it was announced at the Cannes Film Festival.

Co-produced by the studio behind animated hits Gnomeo and Juliet and 9, Arch Productions and Fry’s own company, Sprout Productions, the film is a short story written by gay poet and playwright Oscar Wilde and was first published in 1887.

Race on Canal Street in Manchester, northern England race adds 'a bit of sparkle' to charity campaign

A group of female impersonators took to the streets of Manchester, England on 24 January to compete in a drag race in order to raise awareness of the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile .

Wearing high heels and deely bobbers the racers staged their own version of the charity race on Canal Street, the centre of the Manchester Gay Village.

No one would ever compare Ian Gallagher, the gay teen on the Showtime series Shameless, with the gay characters on Glee.

This series takes place far away from a choir room as it follows the life of Frank Gallagher (played by William H. Macy), a single father of six children who is drunk most of the time.

His kids learn to take care of themselves including the third-oldest, Ian, who is tough, street smart and quite sexually active.

Rumours BBC will commission a new series of gay-favourite sit-com Absolutely Fabulous for 2013

Jennifer Saunders is expected to write a new series of Absolutely Fabulous – a sit-com famous for it’s loyal gay fan base – for 2013.

The BBC brought back Jennifer Saunders as spoilt PR Eddy Monsoon and her co-star Joanna Lumley, who plays fashion magazine editor Patsy Stone, for three specials recently. One has screened at Christmas, another at New Year and the third will be seen at the time of the London Olympics.

It’s the first time in seven years that new episodes of Absolutely Fabulous, known by fans as Ab Fab, have been screened.

Power-crazy alien from the classic BBC drama is being sold in California auction

A Dalek used in the classic series of Doctor Who is expected to go for £8,000 at auction this week - even though it is only was one foot tall.

The model metallic monster, which featured in the 1985 Colin Baker story Revelation of the Daleks, was built for a scene in which it was exterminated. The prop was destroyed on screen using TV pixilation, so was undamaged. It will go under the hammer in California on Thursday (15 December).

Jason Donovan joins gay mag pin-up in the final of ballroom dancing show

Boyband drummer Harry Judd is through to the final of British TV competition Strictly Come Dancing.

The ballroom and Latin dancing competition will finish live on BBC next week.

Judd, the drummer from pop-rock band McFly, has repeatedly stripped off for UK gay magazine Attitude and is the current cover star – named by the magazine as the ‘sexiest man of the year’.
