Fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have backtracked after calling IVF babies 'synthetic children.'

Their comments led to a social media spat with Elton John who is calling for a boycott of their brand.

Gabbana said he did support IVF and that his business partner and former lover had chosen 'the wrong words.'

'We love gay couple. We love gay adoption. We love everything,' he told CNN on Wednesday (18 March).

Gay rights activists in Syria have alleged they have been told 'they're not worth saving' from ISIS.

Nour, a gay man, lives near to where Islamic extremists are throwing gay men off buildings and then, if they survive, encouraging others to stone them to death.

During an interview with CNN, Nour alleged he and others have tried to reach out to international groups but have been told they are not a 'priority'.

Outspoken Republican makes U-turn on offensive comments

Dr Ben Carson has publicly apologized for suggesting prison ‘turns you gay’.

Carson, who is possibly running for president in 2016, made the blunder during an interview on CNN while discussing gay marriage.

The interview clip went viral and the internet quickly flooded with backlash against the inflammatory comment, and today Carson took to Facebook to rectify his mistake.

Ben Carson has said homosexuality is 'absolutely' a choice and prison sex proves this.

The potential Republican presidential candidate made the comments Wednesday (4 February) during an interview on CNN.

'A lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight — and when they come out, they’re gay,' he said.

The retired doctor then said he supported partnership rights for gay couples but not marriage.

Star Trek icon Leonard Nimoy died Friday morning from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

He was 83.

Nimoy, who played half-human, half-Vulcan Mr. Spock on the original Star Trek television series and feature films, is being mourned by co-stars and fans.

'My heart is broken,' tweeted Zachary Quinto who co-starred with Nimoy in the Star Trek feature film franchise reboot.

'I love you profoundly,' Quinto added. 'I will miss you every day. May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.'

Lesbian commentator receives a flurry of criticism for her remark

CNN pundit Sally Kohn has come under fire for saying she hopes that her child turns out to be gay – just like her two moms.

'I'm gay. And I want my kid to be gay, too,' she wrote in a Washington Post op-ed published on Friday (20 February).

The political commentator said, like many other parents, she simply wanted her six-year-old daughter to follow in her footsteps.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has been slammed for not supporting and defending LGBTI athletes.

Swedish skier Anja Paerson made the comments when reflecting on the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in which many gay athletes and spectators did not feel safe in the wake of the Russian ‘gay propaganda’ law.

Paerson, who is now retired, felt the IOC did not do enough to stand up for gay athletes.

Trans woman and her wife want to change attitudes in Russia

A Russian gay couple who married in the fiercest way possible has reflected on their wedding and the consequences it could have the country.

Alyona Furvosa and Irina Shumilova married, both in stunning white gowns, in front of family and friends at a St Petersburg registry office last month.

The trans woman and her cisgender bride were allowed to marry through a loophole, with the city technically viewing the union as a heterosexual marriage.
