Carrie Underwood may be supportive of gay marriage, but it doesn't look like the Country music superstar is eager to become an outspoken LGBT activist on a regular basis.

Ever since she said in an interview with British newspaper The Independent, that said she believes, as a Christian, everyone has the right to ‘love publicly,' Underwood has been criticized by some social conservatives.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) launched a Twitter campaign today (14 June) to show support for country music singer Carrie Underwood who is being attacked by some fans because she recently spoke out in favor of gay marriage.

In a recent profile interview with British newspaper The Independent, the country singer said she believes, as a Christian, everyone has the right to ‘love publicly.'
