As a famed atheist who has written extensively about his disbelief in God, Richard Dawkins receives plenty of hate mail, including plenty that questions his sexuality

A video has appeared of the evolutionary biologist, Richard Dawkins, reading out some of the hate mail that he regularly receives.

Dawkins' well-documented opposition to creationism has earned him the wrath of some religious fundamentalists; all the more so since the best-selling success of his 2006 book, The God Delusion.

Despite the fact that he has been married three times to women, some think his opposition to religious belief must mean that he is gay.

The video was shot last April but has only just appeared this week on the internet.
