'Secret' last minute gig announced with performance from M-People's Heather Small and Eurovision winner Loreen

Ex-M-person Healther Small and Eurovision winner Loreen are playing a pop-up party in Sydney tonight, ahead of their performances at the Sydney Mardi Gras parade after-party, Mardigrasland, tomorrow.

The singers, performing in the intimate surroundings of the Sydney Mardi Gras Museum, will be joined by DJs Bimbo Jones and Adam Love and drag queens Dallas Dellaforce, Vanessa Wagner, The Amazing Ari and Carmen Geddit.

NFL player canceled appearance at church of anti-gay Robert Jeffress

NFL player Tim Tebow is now getting backlash from both sides stemming from canceled plans to speak at a Dallas mega-church with an anti-gay pastor.

Tebow, back-up quarterback for the New York Jets, on Wednesday (20 February) backed out of an April appearance at First Baptist Church of Dallas after homophobic comments by pastor Robert Jeffress surfaced.

Back-up quarterback for New York Jets had faced backlash

Tim Tebow won't be speaking at a Dallas mega-church with an anti-gay pastor after all.

The National Football League star, currently a back-up quarterback for the New York Jets, had been scheduled to speak at First Baptist Church of Dallas in April.

But the famous Christian jock has faced strong backlash since the appearance was announced because of anti-gay and other controversial statements made in the past by pastor Robert Jeffress.

They are urging BSA board to overturn ban in gays this week

The national board of the Boy Scouts of America is meeting this week to decide whether or not to approve a policy change that would allow openly gay people to participate in scouting.

To mark the occasion, a group of activists converged upon BSA headquarters in Dallas, Texas, Monday (4 February) to deliver petitions with 1.4 million signatures to encourage them to end the gay ban.

Actor is best known for playing title role in ABC Family series Kyle XY

Matt Dallas, best known for his years as the star of the ABC Family series Kyle XY, has announced his engagement to a man on Twitter.

Dallas, 30, had never before publicly confirmed that he is gay.

The actor told his more than 40,000 Twitter followers: 'Starting off the year with a new fiancé, @bluehamilton. A great way to kick off 2013!'

The fiance is Los Angeles-based musician Brandon Blue Hamilton (professionally known as Blue) whose Twitter handle is actually @BlueJamesMusic.

Hollywood hunk Jared Leto says he starved himself for a month to play a transgender woman living with HIV.

The 40-year-old star's new super skinny figure was achieved for his role in the Dallas Buyers Club, co-starring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner.

The 30 Seconds to Mars band member told entertainment site Vulture that he had to shed the pounds fast because he only got involved with the movie a few weeks ago.

Back when I started, when I was training in Dallas I would walk into the room and there were anti-gay pamphlets from right-wing Christians on each chair and I would throw them all away. We had a bomb threat one time and there was an empty duffle bag left so it was scary. People would write ‘fag’ on the bathroom wall.

But at that time, in the 1980s, corporations required every employee to take eight hours of diversity training a year. So you would get a menu of the courses available to you and I was the first one on offer on sexual orientation.

Moviegoers who enjoyed Matthew McConaughey's nearly nude body in the male stripper flick Magic Mike will be in for quite a shock when they see the usually very buff actor in his next film.

McConaughey is in the process of losing 30 pounds for his role as a homophobic cowboy who contracts AIDS through drug use in the film The Dallas Buyers Club.

Ousted lesbian den leader Jennifer Tyrrell showed up as Boy Scouts of America headquarters in Dallas, Texas, Wednesday (18 July) to deliver more than 300,000 petition signatures calling for an end to the organization's anti-gay policy.

Her delivery comes a day after the BSA announced that after two years  of consideration by an 11-person committee, the Scouts will continue to ban gay members.

The new ABC comedy-drama GCB has plenty for gays to love with its bitchiness, its divas and most of all, the hunky gay character of Blake Reilly who is closeted to everyone in the Dallas enclave where the show is set.

Blake, played by Mark Deklin, is a cowboy-businessman married to a woman named Cricket and has a teenage daughter. This isn't your typical marriage of convenience though: Blake and Cricket (Miriam Shor) are the best of friends who both know exactly what the other is up to.

A 71-year-old woman in the US has been charged with an anti-gay hate crime for allegedly beating a man and calling him a 'faggot'.

Wanda Derby, from Richland Hills in Dallas, 'got enraged' when she found out her son was moving in with the man next door and started 'whooping him' with her cane.

Charles Mainor blames 'gaybirds' reference on friend who used his phone

New Jersey Assemblyman Charles Mainor insists that he would know better than to post a homophobic slur on his Facebook page.

But apparently he's friends with someone who does not.

During Sunday night's NFL playoff game between the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers, this message was posted on Mainor's Facebook page: "Who the hell do you think we are the DALLAS COWGIRLS OR THOSE GAYBIRDS FROM PHILLY....NO WE ARE THE NEW YORK GIANTS."

Right wing pundit Coulter says 'liberal yuppies' would abort gay kids

Conservative author and commentator Ann Coulter is known for saying outrageous things and on tonight's episode of the U.S. reality series The A List: Dallas, she does it again.

Coulter, who describes herself as 'the Judy Garland of the right wing,' is seen having cocktails with cast member Taylor Garrett on the LGBT-themed reality show that airs on the cable channel Logo.
