Group of transwomen were asked not to return because owner believed they cost him business

A bar owner in Portland, Oregon, has been ordered by a court to pay $400,000 in damages to a group of transwomen who he denied service to because of their gender identity.

Brett Williams sued after the Colorado State Patrol refused to rehire him

A judge has ordered the Colorado State Patrol to pay one of its former captains $768,000 in damages for outing him as gay during a polygraph test.

Brett Williams, 45, had left the force in 2010 to become a helicopter pilot. But he re-applied for his job a few months later and was not re-hired.

He sued.

It seems that during the interview process, Williams was made to take a lie detector test and was asked about a sexual encounter with a male masseuse.
