Anti-gay radio host says ‘The gays have won’

Michael Brown, who has said gays are to blame for LGBT teen suicide, has said it could be time to throw in the towel

An extremist American religious anti-gay radio host has said the LGBT community has ‘won’.

Michael Brown, who has accused gay people of being the most ‘intolerant people out there’, said he was not surprised by the recent victories of the human rights movement.

He said: ‘I’m not in the least bit surprised by the victories of the “gay revolution”.

In fact, when I first became involved in this specific aspect of the “culture wars” less than nine years ago, I saw back then that our side had already lost the battle and that gay activism had won the day.

One of the leading non-religious opponents of marriage equality in the United States has now come out as a supporter

An expert witness who testified against the constitutional challenge to California’s Proposition 8 ban on same-sex marriage has publicly recanted his opposition to marriage equality.

David Blankenhorn, the founder and president of the Institute for American Values, was a key witness called to testify against same-sex marriage in the case of Perry v. Brown and authored a book ‘The Future of Marriage’ in 2007, making the case against same-sex marriage.
