Hate group One Million Moms attacks Disney Gay Day

OMM accuses Disney World of forcing captive audiences to see public displays of LGBT affection

One Million Moms (OMM) is campaigning to stop Gay Day, 1 June at Disney Orlando USA.

OMM believe the long running ‘event is planned with the intent to expose and desensitize children to this [gay] lifestyle by same-sex couples holding hands, hugging and kissing.’

One Million Moms urges their users to email Disney World with their formatted complaint.

The Florida Family Association plans to fly banner warning families

The anti-gay group Florida Family Association is seeking donations to 'warn families' about the unofficial 'Gay Day' taking place at Walt Disney World on June 2.'

'How would you feel if you entered the Magic Kingdom anticipating a normal day of fun with your family only to witness thousands of same-sex couples holding hands, hugging, kissing and wearing tee-shirts that promoted their lifestyle?' the group asks on its website.

Hong Kong Disney Gay Day is a hit

Lion King unites with Mr Gay HK for first Asian Disneyland Gay Day.

Organisers of the first official Gay Day at Hong Kong Disneyland are jubilant after more people turned up than anticipated.

The event had been taking place unofficially since 2007 but this was the first time Disney itself added input.

Co-ordinated by a group of volunteers called GayDaysAsia, almost 200 people took part in the fun at the weekend.

Highlights included a gay-themed treasure hunt with the first prize being a yearly pass to the fun park, a Lion King show featuring Mr Gay Hong Kong 2010 HeiHei Yau and a Buzz Lightyear Astroblaster challenge.
