Two female penguins have paired up for the mating season in a South Pole exhibition at Dingle Oceanworld in County Kerry, Ireland

Two female penguins have become nesting partners at Dingle Oceanworld in the Republic of Ireland – showing all the signs that they are in love with each other.

The two Gentoo penguins are part of a group of 12 at the sea life park and aquarium in Ireland’s County Kerry so if they had wanted to pair with a male penguin there were plenty of options for them.

Accenture named as Britain’s best employer in annual list compiled by UK’s leading gay rights organization

Multinational management consultancy and tech firm Accenture has been named the top employer for gay people in Britain.

Accenture tops the 2013 Workplace Equality Index, compiled by gay rights organization Stonewall.

Gentoo, a housing company based in Sunderland, north east England comes second and the Co-operative, which provides a range of services from food retail to funerals, comes third.

Keepers at Madrid zoo give broody male penguin pair egg to care for

A pair of broody 'gay' penguins from a zoo in Madrid has finally been given an egg of their own to look after.

Inca and Rayas, from Spain's Faunia Park, have been building a nest together for six years in the hope of one day hearing the tiny pitter patter of webbed feet.

Zookeepers took pity on the Gentoo penguins by giving them an egg to care for.
