Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski will still be part of revamped show

Fashion Police has been put on a long hiatus.

The fashion snarkfest that Joan Rivers put on the map has struggled to find its groove since her death last September.

The show, which relaunched in January with Kathy Griffin succeeding Rivers as the comic center, was dealt a blow last week when Griffin abruptly quit after just seven episodes.

Her departure came just days after panelist Kelly Osbourne, a holdover from the Rivers version, had quit.

'I’m more improvisational and I don’t know what I’m going to say and neither does anyone else on the panel'

Next week, the day after Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, Kathy Griffin will make her debut as host of E! network's Fashion Police.

It will be the first episode of the show since its Emmy recap in September which was taped just days before Joan Rivers had a minor medical procedure that resulted in her death at the age of 81.

So it will be a bittersweet occasion for her successor and close friend Griffin.

The comic told The Today Show this week that she will be similar to her mentor with her outspoken nature but will also have her own style.

Did comic finally go too far on CNN's live New Year's Eve coverage?

Kathy Griffin didn't drop an f-bomb during CNN's live New Year's coverage. She also didn't try and take her clothes off and she didn't scream down to a heckler that she wasn't trying to 'knock dicks out of your mouth.'

No, that was all in past years.

This year, the sixth year she teamed with Anderson Cooper for the telecast, the red-headed comic merely tried to simulate giving oral sex to Cooper.
