The British minister with overall responsibility for equality, including LGBT diversity, has been changed in the cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister David Cameron.

Cameron’s reorganization today (4 September) is the first major rejig of the government since the Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition took power in 2010.

Demonstrators in London claim gay asylum seekers sent home may be beaten, raped and even killed because of their sexuality

Ugandan gay rights activists are demonstrating in London today (15 June), protesting the UK's deportation of LGBT asylum seekers and the return of the African nation's anti-homosexuality bill.

Campaigners from the Movement for Justice held a rally outside Uganda House in London at 1pm, holding banners and chanting 'Lesbian and gay men have the right. Here to stay, here to fight', and 'Racist, sexist, anti-gays, you can't take our rights away'.
