LadyRock Festival celebrates all things British in debut concert

Popstar KT Tunstall will headline the first ever women’s only festival in the northwest of the UK.

The Scottish songwriter will headline the LadyRock Festival in Manchester on 26 May, performing alongside radio favourites New Young Pony Club and the critically acclaimed Ronika.

Tunstall is most famous for her 2005 single Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, which charted across the UK, Europe and the United States.

Her hit Suddenly I See also featured in the opening scenes of the Hollywood film The Devil Wears Prada.

LadyRock Festival ready to 'celebrate all things female' with music and comedy

Women rockers and comics are to get their own event, LadyRock Festival, for the first time in North West England.

Debuting on 26 May at the Manchester Ruby Club, the festival will bring 'girl power' into the 21st century.

LadyRock will showcase the talents of both signed and unsigned female artists, female-fronted bands, hosts and comedians.
