Johnny Weir, a three-time US National Champion and two-time Olympian in figure skating, will be taking his competitive skills from the ice rink to the kitchen.

Weir, who is openly gay, is one of eight celebrities set to face off in Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off. Previews of the show show him kissing fellow competitor, actor Dean McDermmot but it's not know the context of the kiss. McDermott is married to Tori Spelling.

He may not be as famous as Johnny Weir but Matt Savoie does have a few things in common with the popular ice skating star: both have represented the US in te Olympics and both got married this year to their male partners.

Savoie, 32, married attorney Brian Boyle earlier this month in Massachusetts while Weir married Victor Voronov last January in New York City.

Johnny Weir did a lot more than celebrate the New Year over the weekend: he also got married.

The skating star tweeted this simple message on Saturday: 'I'm married!'

The other groom is Georgetown Law School grad Victor Voronov who quickly changed his twitter name to Victor Weir-Voronov and posted a photo of the newly-wed pair.

'Ringing in the New Year with my new hubby!' he wrote.
