Night that began at South Carolina gay bar turns violent

Three men who met at a gay bar in South Carolina got into trouble when their evening moved on to a hot tub.

After 'kissing and touching each other' in the bubbles for a bit, a fight broke out between two of the men.

Michael Gordon, 33, and Austin Adams, 18, met 21-year-old Douglas Tench at a nightclub in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where the trio had some drinks.

Gordon was dog sitting at a house in Boiling Springs and it was there that the three men got into a hot tub.

But what could have been a real moment was watered down heavily by the network afraid that children would be confused by two men kissing.

Speaking on Newsnight with new gay host Evan Davis, the UK prime minister was asked to speak plainly on typical scenarios that help reveal whether he is a 'modernizer' or a 'more socially conservative leader'.

Davis asked if he saw two recently married men kissing in a public park, would he consider it to be 'sweet' or 'mildly inappropriate'?

Authorities in homophobic countries have been using the app to hunt gay men

Grindr has disabled its show distance setting in countries that have a history of anti-gay violence, after reports that authorities were using the app to hunt gay men.

The setting no longer works in Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Liberia, Sudan and Zimbabwe among others, and more will be added to the list.

Grindr told GSN, ‘In light of recent security allegations surrounding a user’s specific location, Grindr is taking measures and will be releasing updates to keep users secure in territories with anti-gay legislation.'

Doctor Who’s first episode of the new season featured a show-stopping lesbian kiss.

In the opener called Deep Breath, the Time Lord reunited with lesbian Silurian Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh) and her wife Jenny Flint (Catrin Stewart).

Late in the episode as the couple, the Sontaran Strax and companion Clara are under threat, the couple locked lips.

Glasgow has defied Commonwealth gay hate by getting John Barrowman to kiss a man in the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.

A shocking 42 of the 53 countries competing in the games, the world’s third biggest multi-sports tournament, criminalize homosexuality.

Some, including Uganda, Nigeria, Brunei and Jamaica, are famous as some of the world’s most homophobic countries.

They are in sharp contrast to Scotland, the games’ host, where same-sex marriage is legal.

The First Kiss video uploaded onto YouTube on Monday (10 March) has spawned many imitators and parody attempts, the latest of which shows homophobes and gay people hugging it out on camera.

First Kiss was presented by WREN and currently has over 57 million views. The film shows 20 strangers, of different ages, races and sexual orientations, kissing on camera.

The Gay Women Channel yesterday (15 March) uploaded their own take on the idea, titled First Gay Hug (A Homophobic Experiment).

Several people were outraged on social media, saying the British soap is a 'disgrace' for showing a raunchy same-sex romance

ITV and Ofcom is facing complaints over a half-naked gay kiss on Coronation Street.

Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) and Marcus Dent (Charlie Condou)’s relationship heated up last week, with the 21 February episode featuring a half-naked embrace and kiss.

Around 100 complaints have been made to TV regulator Ofcom over the scene between two men airing before 8pm.

While some of the complaints were about it being too ‘sexually suggestive’, other complaints were homophobic.

33 gay, straight and interracial couples have been married at the Grammys by Queen Latifah as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performed their hit song Same Love with Madonna and Mary Lambert.

The couples married during a brief ceremony held during a pause in the song, exchanging rings and kissing to cheers from the audience.

Madonna took to the stage to join Macklemore, Lewis and Lambert directly after the ceremony.

Many of the couples and members of the audience were visibly crying during the ceremony.

Straight male celebs have kissed in order to fight homophobia in Russia, Germany and around the world.

In the brand new German campaign, titled #Mundpropaganda (a pun on ‘word of mouth’ and ‘kissing propaganda’), the hunks are hoping to stamp out intolerance and discrimination.

Lifestyle monthly GQ, generally known for advertising fast cars and hot women to its readers, launched the Gentlemen Against Homophobia campaign.
