'Excellent show but no gays please'

The Walking Dead has been criticised after it featured a gay kiss between two men.

Aaron and his partner Eric, who are the first gay male characters to appear on the popular action series, shared a kiss during last Sunday's (22 February) episode of the show in the US.

Despite the AMC series being renowned for its over the top scenes of violence and gore, a number of the show's fans took to Twitter after the gay kiss aired to express their disgust at having to watch two men sharing an intimate moment.

Focus group using dial technology went from 10 to zero when Jamal and Michael locked lips

Lee Daniels thinks there's a stigma to being gay - especially two men together - that has been hard to shake.

The creator of the new hit drama Empire got reminded of this when the show's pilot was shown to a test audience and featured gay kiss between two young male characters.

The audience was able to give immediate feedback with a nob which they could indicate from zero to 10 how they felt about a scene. Zero meant they really hated something while a 10 indicated a string like for what they were seeing.

It is adorable and amazing

It's hard to capture a perfect kiss. Most of the time on camera the actors look uncomfortable, or there's no chemistry, or it just feels unnatural.

For New York Times Magazine, 18 of the year's biggest stars coupled up to participate in nine short films about trying to capture that single kiss.

While a masked Benedict Cumberbatch kisses a big-haired Reese Witherspoon and Timothy Spall wins an arm wrestling match by pecking David Oyelowo on the lips, we have a favorite.
