Auditions opening soon for dancers to perform on stage at Sydney Mardi Gras

Sydney Mardi Gras is offering Australia's most enthusiastic dancers the chance to perform on stage during the festival.

The lucky dancers will get to be on stage with the stars performing at the 35th Sydney Mardi Gras party in March.

Former-Scissor-Sister Jake Spears, former-M-Person Heather Small and former-Neighbours star Delta Goodrem are performing at the legendary Mardigrasland party after the parade on Sunday 3 March.

Scottish gay choir performed alongside Kylie Minogue and Michael Bublé

Members of a gay choir from Edinburgh, Scotland were given the chance of a lifetime when famed rockstar Rod Stewart invited them to take part in his Christmas television special.

The Maggie May singer became a fan of the Loud and Proud choral group after seeing a video of them performing online. 

The Scottish choir shared the stage with Stewart, as well as his special guests which included Kylie Minogue and Michael Buble.

BBC Lip Service TV star and musician has revealed she will perform at the legendary gay festival Sydney Mardi Gras

British lesbian musician and actress Heather Peace has announced she will perform down under at the world famous Sydney Mardi Gras.

The performance, which has been headlined by gay icons like Kylie Minogue, will be the beginning of a tour which will take Peace across Australia.

Touring from10 – 24 February, Peace said it was a ‘dream come true’.

‘It’s been a dream of mine to perform at Sydney Mardi Gras and I’ve also had so many requests on social media from Australian fans for me to come over and play,’ she said.

New York band, which features three gay members, say they are now working on solo projects

Scissor Sisters have announced they are taking an indefinite hiatus from music.

The ‘I Don’t Feel Like Dancing’ group performed their last UK gig at Camden’s Roundhouse in London last night (24 October), and said they have no plans to work together again.

Putting on an extended gig as a thank you to the fans, gay lead singer Jake Shears shocked the crowd by saying: ‘This will be the last time we will play in London for quite some time.’

Lady Gaga has launched her own social networking site, featuring chat rooms, message boards and photo sharing.

The Little Monsters site, which went live yesterday (9 July), describes itself as a 'community full of art, acceptance, monsters and Gaga'.

Once signed up, fans of the Born This Way singer can share pictures, discuss different topics and talk to other users in one of the many chatrooms, including one for 'Gay Monsters'.

Elvis Presley’s granddaughter will play a lesbian werewolf in new independent film Jack and Diane.

American actress Riley Keough will play tough lesbian Jack in a story of two young girls who meet and fall in love in New York City. The women also happen to be werewolves.

British actress Juno Temple will play love interest Diane, whose charming innocence opens up Jack’s tough exterior.

Gay pop icon Kylie Minogue will also have a cameo in the movie as the owner of a tattoo parlor, who has a sexual encounter with Keough’s Jack.

After canceling Vegas concerts, singer will perform for Queen Elizabeth

Elton John, who was forced to cancel four performances of his The Million Dollar Piano show in Las Vegas due to illness, is still planning to perform for Queen Elizabeth next Monday 4 June.

John had checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last week where he was treated for a serious respiratory infection that he had developed while performing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The pop princess is back in hotpants for her new single, Timebomb, and dancing in the streets of London's Soho

Pop princess Kylie dances through London’s gay district, Soho, in hotpants and a leather jacket emblazed with a red heart in her new video, out today (25 May).  

The Timebomb video sees Kylie hitting the streets of London's Soho before jumping in an open-top sports car for a high-speed trip around the UK's capital before swapping for a motorbike.

Timebomb is a return to the classic Kylie sound that perfectly coincides with the 43-year olds celebration of 25 years in the music industry, known as K25.

GaydarRadio listeners vote for the British pop songstress over rival Lady Gaga

Madonna and Kylie have a new sister in their pop royalty family, as Adele was named as a new gay icon today (22 April).

The Someone Like You singer won 55% of the thousands of votes cast by GaydarRadio listeners in the UK, while her nearest rival Lady Gaga only received 18.9%.

Other winners were Gareth Thomas, the first openly gay professional rugby union player, who won Celebrity of the Year picking up more than a quarter of the votes.

Openly gay Swedish footballer Anton Hysen was named Hero of the Year after getting more than a third of the votes.
