Seven men arrested for gay sex in the Cameroon have been released.

Donatus Sembe, the police officer in charge of the case, told AP that four of them were freed on Wednesday due to lack of evidence and the other three were released earlier in the week.

The men were arrested in the capital Yaoundé last week in a raid on a house where police said they were engaging in prostitution and gay sex.

Seven men were arrested in Cameroon yesterday on homosexuality charges in a raid on a house where police said they were engaging in prostitution and gay sex.

Neighbors told police that effeminate men often visited the house in the capital Yaoundé. Police had been tailing the men for some time and waited until the group was gathered in the house, then broke down the door and found men engaged in gay sex.

The owner of the house escaped to the roof and avoided arrest.

Police in Guangzhou, China have raided a gay ‘club’ in a rented apartment, according to state media.

In the midnight crackdown, the authorities caught a total of 13 men, some of them naked, reports China Youth International.

Police were first notified of the venue, after residents nearby suspected the large number of strangers frequenting it were brothel patrons.

New York City DJ  Mister Cee will go on Hot 97's morning to show to explain his arrest for soliciting a male prostitute

Mister Cee, a popular DJ at the New York City radio station Hot 97, was reportedly arrested last week for soliciting a male prostitute.

According to the website Rod 2.0 (who linked to a Daily News article), the 46 year-old allegedly approached an undercover police officer. Cee, whose legal name is Calvin LeBrun, will appear on the station's morning show tomorrow (6 April) to explain last week's events.
