Linda Harvey, from anti-gay Mission America, says websites like Gay Star News lead children into questioning their sexuality

A controversial radio host is claiming Gay Star News and other LGBT news sites can turn kids gay.

Linda Harvey, host of Mission America’s radio show, says gay news sites and blogs that are ‘sympathetic to the social and political goals of the homosexual movement’ will lead children into questioning their sexuality.

According to her the US Supreme Court should uphold the ban on marriage equality, as being gay is ‘a changeable behavior’ which if promoted will put children at risk.

Linda Harvey alleged that ‘all American children’ are ‘potential victims of this nonsense’ (i.e. gay marriage) as it ‘will yield more disease, more anxiety, depression, more teen angst in general’.

Linda Harvey, the founder Mission America, a right wing Christian organization, said gays and lesbians are not people and therefore should not be treated as US citizens nor be entitled for equal protection.

Harvey who is also a frequent contributor to the conservative website WorldNetDaily.com, said that Fourteenth Amendment of the US constitution, that defines citizenship and protects a person's civil and political rights, only applies to ‘real’ people, not to ‘unnatural’ ‘homosexual behaviour, which is changeable.’
