The 28-year-old Australian supermodel and DJ has released a short film, Break Free, dealing with the topic of gender identity.

In the film, she transforms from a buxom blonde with long hair to a heavily tattooed man with short hair.

‘Whether straight, gay, bi, trans ... body image and identity can be a struggle for us all,’ Rose told News Corp Australia.

Given a five-match ban for calling another player a ‘fucking fag,’ Leeds Rhinos full-back Zak Hardaker comes to Manchester’s Canal Street to meet with LGBT locals

Rugby star Zak Hardaker will meet with members of the LGBT community tomorrow night as part of his 'personal and professional development' after being suspended for using a homophobic slur during a game.

In June the 22-year-old player called Warrington captain Michael Monaghan a ‘fucking fag’ at , for which he received a Charge E offense and a £300 fine ($514, €377).

Hardaker was banned for five games (a Charge E offense means a four to eight game ban), during which time he agreed to work with gay rugby group the Manchester Canalsiders.

Football commentator Brian Taylor is confirmed to attend counseling after calling a player a ‘big poofter’ on-air.

On a 12 July broadcast, Taylor called Geelong player Harry Taylor ‘a big poofter’ for doing what he called a ‘royal wave’ when teammates hoisted him on their shoulders in celebration of his 150th game.

Taylor apologized to viewers in a subsequent broadcast saying: ‘In the pre-game show I said something that I regret.

But what viewers did not know was that on the day Michael Sam met boyfriend Vito Cammisano years earlier, Cammisano was dressed as a bunny.

Sam, the first openly gay player in the history of the NFL. and Cammisano met at one of the first big parties he attended in his freshman year at the University of Missouri.

It was a lingerie party and Cammisano, a star swimmer at the school, was dressed as a rabbit with a bushy white tail.

The teen with 8.7million followers who posted a homophobic rant on video sharing site Vine has apologized.

Nash Grier, 16, sparked anger around the world by showing a clip of an HIV testing product and then screaming ‘fag’.

He took it down, but not before it was recorded and re-uploaded by a fellow social media star, Tyler Oakley who branded it ‘extremely dangerous’.

Teens say stupid things all the time, we know this. But when it becomes hurtful, that’s when it needs to be discussed.

Several teens were asked about this famous phrase as well as the Jonah Hill controversy.

Earlier this month, the actor told a member of the paparazzi to ‘Suck my dick, you faggot’.

He then went on a long, remorseful tour of apologizing for his behavior, calling himself a gay rights activist.

The teens reacted to the controversy, as well as surrounding topics about using homophobic language in everyday speak.

Actor Gary Oldman thinks much too much was made of Alec Baldwin calling a photographer a 'cocksucking fag' last November.

In a lengthy rant against political correctness during an upcoming interview with Playboy Magazine, Oldman said: 'Alec calling someone an F-A-G in the street while he’s pissed off coming out of his building because they won’t leave him alone. I don’t blame him. So they persecute.'

22 Jump Street actor does an Alec Baldwin and lashes out a photographer who had been following him

22 Jump Street actor Jonah Hill has lashed out at a photographer, calling him a ‘faggot’.

But he has immediately apologized, saying he regrets it and has called the slur he used ‘disgusting’.

The US actor had been followed and questioned by a paparazzo from TMZ in Los Angeles.

In an attempt to get him to leave, Hill shouted: ‘Suck my dick you faggot!’

TMZ published the video on its website, condemning him for using homophobic language.

Hill went on the phone to Howard Stern to explain the situation.

When the Olympic diver came out last year, he received vile homophobic abuse on social media, which has now been used to create his portrait

‘Dirty fag’ and ‘he’s going to hell’ were just some of the insults thrown at Tom Daley when he came out in December 2013.

Now a UK artist has taken all the vile anti-gay slurs aimed at the British Olympic diver and turned them into art.

UK based artist Conor Collins created the portrait of Daley by using all the horrible homophobic names he was called on social media when he revealed his sexuality.

Collins revealed the finished portrait on his Twitter account this week (17 April).

Jon Jones, the youngest Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) in the history of the sport, is in hot water after his tirade on the social media site earlier this week (15 April).

Swedish man Danii Javid was the recipient of the homophobic slurs.

Video shows members of performance art group being attacked in public plaza

Video of members of the performance art group Pussy Riot being attacked with horsewhips by Cossack militia emerged Wednesday and is quickly causing outrage.

The pro-gay, anti-Putin group was trying to perform in Sochi, Russia, under a sign advertising the Winter Olympics.

As they pulled out a guitar and microphone,  at least 10 Cossacks and other security officials moved in.

The women chanted in Russian: 'Putin will teach you to love the Motherland,' the name of the song for which they had arrived in Sochi to make a new protest video.

Ivan Okhlobystin, the actor and former Russian Orthodox priest who said he wanted to ‘burn homosexuals alive,’ is being taken to court over those comments by a gay activist

An LGBTI Russian activist is taking homophobic actor Ivan Okhlobystin to court over his comment that homosexuals should be ‘thrown in a furnace while they are still alive.’

Okhlobystin made the comments during a speech to fans in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk in December – also adding that he wanted ‘faggots’ stripped of their voting rights because they are a ‘psychical anomaly.’

The defensive line coach for the Colorado State University football team has been suspended without pay for two weeks after hurling an anti-gay slur at a player on the opposing team.

Trio of vigilantes, part of a group that were condemned by LGBTI groups and Muslim community, will be in prison from 24 weeks to 17 months

Three anti-gay thugs, who called themselves the ‘Muslim Patrol’ in London, have been jailed.

The trio were a part of a group that targeted gays, women and many others. In their attempts to impose sharia law in the East London streets, they recorded many of their attacks and posted them on YouTube.

Jordan Horner, 19, Ricardo McFarlane, 26, and a third man who cannot be named for legal reasons pleaded guilty on Friday (6 December).

They admitted to a variety of charges, including actual bodily harm and affray.

Alec Baldwin is spreading the blame around for the demise of his MSNBC talk show including on 'the fundamentalist wing of gay advocacy.'

Earlier today (26 November), Baldwin and MSNBC said in a joint statement that they had mutually agreed to stop making Up Late With Alec Baldwin. The show was already struggling in the ratings before Baldwin was caught by TMZ cameras calling a photographer a 'cocksucking fag.'

Baldwin continues to deny he used the word 'fag' and claims he did not know 'cocksucker' was an anti-gay slur.
