'I’ve always felt the correct retort to “It’s a choice” is “Prove it. Suck my dick'"

Controversial sex columnist Dan Savage has never been one to sugarcoat his words and that was the case in a new interview in which he told Republican Mike Huckabee to 'suck my dick.'

In the interview published today in Playboy magazine, the LGBTI activist laid into others in the media who offer sex advice.

'Dr Laura is a vile piece of shit,' he said.

What about Dr Phil?

NBA star Jason Collins coming out has inspired the competitive sportsman languishing in one dad and he’s chosen his opponent, anti-gay marathon man Mike Huckabee

I have a confession to make. As much as I loathe clichés and generalizations, there is one that I live up to with incredible gusto. I typify the gay guy who doesn’t do sports. Not even a little bit.

From the pains of never getting picked for teams in PE to the days of racking up huge Trivial Pursuit momentum only to be demolished by the final Orange pie question (for those too young for the original Trivial Pursuit, that was the ‘sports’ category), I am the ultimate sports loser.

American Family Association's Bryan Fischer says legalizing gay marriage is proof of 'sacrificing the well-being of children'

A far right-wing anti-gay pundit has said 20 young schoolchildren died because God is ‘no longer welcome’ in the classroom.

Referring to the tragic event in Connecticut on Friday (14 December), American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer said it could have been prevented if a prayer for ‘Christian values’ started each school day.

Speaking on his radio show Focal Point, Fischer said: ‘You know the question is going to come up, “where was God? I thought God cared about the little children. Where was God when all this went down?”

Gay marriage opponents like Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin have rallied to the Atlanta-based chain's defense who marriage equality advocates have spoken out, tweeted and protested.

Some politicians have even gone so far as saying the chain's restaurants are no longer welcome in their state.

But one thing that hasn't surface until today (1 August) is humor.
