Heartbeat Song says the fact that people still hate gay people 'blows' her mind

Kelly Clarkson has said she doesn't care if her daughter is gay as long as she's happy.

The 'Heartbeat Song' singer said she never worries about any of her children, including new baby River Rose, will grow up gay.

'Oh, I don't care,' she told PrideSource. 'I mean, here's what I hope for her: I just hope she finds love. It took me a while, man and there was a lot of heartache throughout those years.'

Queen of Pop will visit Australia for the first time in over 20 years

Pop superstar Madonna is to promote her new album ‘Rebel Heart’ with a tour stretching around the world from Miami to Manchester.

The 'Living For Love' hitmaker has planned to be on the road from August to December this year, with plenty of room for more dates to be added.

Her 2012 ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour grossed over $400 million (€356 million) and remains the biggest selling tour by a solo artist.

The highly anticipated tour follows the recent success of her Brit and Grammy appearances.

The pop icon shared a silly video on Monday that has her looking glam as she picks over a box of cookies.

The Material Girl asks the sock what cities he'd lke her to go to?

SockBitch replies: 'London City! New York City! Alaska City!'

As an online video about coming out to parents racks up more than 100 million views in China, the state censorship board has removed all traces of a similar documentary from the internet.

The country's leading queer filmmaker, Fan Popo, said he was puzzled as why to his 'harmonious' 2012 film, Mama Rainbow, was deleted from all Chinese video sharing sites.

Madonna has fired back at people who make degrading remarks about her age. 

The 56-year-old has been subject to intense media scrutiny since since she fell during her BRIT Awards performance of her new single Living For Love on Wednesday. 

Within minutes, the internet was inundated with cruel jokes and memes that poked fun at the Queen of Pop's age, some of which suggested that her tumble was a sign that she should retire.

Raven-Symoné has landed a guest-starring role on ABC comedy Black-ish.

The openly gay actress and singer will play Rhonda, Dre’s (Anthony Anderson) lesbian sister, who is just as uncomfortable talking about her sexuality as he is.

'The two have a playful rivalry in which they jockey for position in their mother’s (recurring guest star Jenifer Lewis) rankings that are released every December,' EW reports.

A young lesbian couple were left bleeding and unconscious after a homophobic attack in Ireland.

Roisin Prendergast, 20, and Ciara Murphy, 17, were walking to a food outlet in Limerick at 2am on 9 February when two men started 'firing homophobic slurs' at the couple.

Taylor Swift says she is ‘sadsies’ she didn’t get to go to Atlanta gay strip club Swinging Richards when Ed Sheeran took her backup dancers out to celebrate one of their birthdays

British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed that he took Taylor Swift’s backup dancers to a gay strip club in 2013 when he was supporting her on her 2013 Red Tour.

Sheeran made the admission during an interview with BBC Radio 1 this week, saying it had been a special birthday treat for one of the dancers.

‘I took all the background dancers to a gay strip club on the Red Tour,’ Sheeran said.

‘I wanted to go to Swinging Richards. I bought the dancer whose birthday it was, I bought them some [strippers.]’

Material Girl managed to complete her set despite what appeared to be painful mishap

It was not meant to be a part of her choreography.

Madonna took the stage to perform at the Brit Awards Wednesday evening and ended up taking a hard fall during her performance - on live television.

The gay icon was unable to undo her long cape and when some of her dancers pulled it backwards, the Material Girl ended up on the ground.

But ever the trouper, Madonna quickly collected herself and got on with her performance.

Gaga hit all the right notes in the film's title song as well as Edelweiss, My Favorite Things and Climb Every Mountain.

Gaga's stupendous musical performance (see video below) was one of the more surprising moments during a night when most of the expected winners took home Oscar gold.

The out lesbian is survived by her partner of 33 years

Lesley Gore, the 1960s pop star who later came out publicly as a lesbian, died on Monday of lung cancer. Her biggest hits included It's My Party, You Don't Own Me and Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows.

Gore died New York University Langone Medical Center in New York, according to the Associated Press.

'She was a wonderful human being - caring, giving, a great feminist, great woman, great human being, great humanitarian,' Lois Sasson, Gore’s partner of 33 years, told the AP.

If you wanna listen to some Spice Girls tracks, you better get your headphones or speakers on.

Four rare, unheard songs from the 90s girlband have been leaked onto the internet.

They were originally intended to be on their 2000 album Forever, their only as a quartet after Geri left the band.

They are the very 90s sounding If It's Lovin' On Your Mind, the Posh-led song A Day In Your Life, a different version of Right Back At Ya and a bizarrely guitar heavy Pain Proof.

Irish law allows religious schools to 'positively discriminate' to protect their ethos and values 

An Irish teacher had to conceal her identity in a wedding competition as she was so afraid she would be fired.

The couple of eight years entered into a contest, hosted by Irish independent radio station Newstalk, for a prize that could be used for the 'Ultimate Wedding' or the 'Ultimate Proposal'.

In order to win, couples had to upload a lip-sync video.

The teacher, going by the screen name Pixel, was the only one to upload a video with the entrant's face blurred and full name unknown.

Centenary of the bisexual singer celebrated in song

It was 1915 when Eleanora Fagan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After a troubled childhood, including an arrest and imprisonment for prostitution at the age of 14, it was in New York City's Harlem in around 1929 when she first took to the stage and began performing as Billie Holiday.

Holiday's successful career and troubled personal life are well documented, ending with her early death in 1959.

Openly gay singer's wins include Record of the Year and Song of the Year

Sam Smith took home both the Record of the Year and Song of the Year prizes for his song Stay With Me at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (8 February).

The openly gay singer also won for Best Pop Vocal Album for In the Lonely Hour and was voted Best New Artist. Overall, he won in four of the six categories he was nominated in - more than any other artist this year.

Vitaly Milonov is at it again

A Russian lawmaker has threatened to arrest UK singer Robbie Williams for saying he is '49% gay'.

The Angels singer is set to perform in St Petersburg in April, but there is definitely one person who will not be entertained.

Vitaly Milonov, the politician behind Russia's 'gay propaganda' law, has claimed Williams must be held 'accountable' for his actions.

'The concert organizers must talk to the singer and tell him he must not make a statement supporting homosexuals,' the lawmaker told Russian News Service.
