The video for the single Full of Fire features queer elements and female couples including a flirtation between an 'occupy' protestor and an army officer.

'The film Full of Fire started to grow as an embryo in the song's lines "who looks after my story?",' said Östberg.

British lesbian musician and actress Heather Peace has announced she will perform down under at the world famous Sydney Mardi Gras.

The performance, which has been headlined by gay icons like Kylie Minogue, will be the beginning of a tour which will take Peace across Australia.

Touring from10 – 24 February, Peace said it was a ‘dream come true’.

‘It’s been a dream of mine to perform at Sydney Mardi Gras and I’ve also had so many requests on social media from Australian fans for me to come over and play,’ she said.

Recently out singing sensation Mika says he's 'not sick' of being asked about his sexuality.

The 29-year-old pop star, who has always claimed he was bisexual and could fall in love with anybody, revealed he was gay in an interview with magazine Instinct in August.

'What am I supposed to say, "No, I'm not bisexual?" If I'm gonna talk about it, I'll leave it until I talk about my sexuality in an open, confident and unpressured way,' Mika told Pride Source website.

The ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ singer has released ‘Flower’ as the lead track from her upcoming celebration album The Abbey Road Sessions.

Gay X Factor winner Joe McElderry says he doesn't take homophobic abuse on the internet 'too seriously'.

The singer, who won the UK version of the talent show in 2009, came out as a result of his Twitter account being hacked but told the Sunday Sun that anti-gay taunts on the social network doesn't bother him.

'I think Twitter is great because you get a lot of response from it,' he said.

Gay icon Barbra Streisand surprises fans by announcing the release of previously unheard music

Barbra Streisand is set to release an album of previously unreleased material from her personal vault next month.

The 11-track album, titled Release Me, will be available on vinyl from 25 September and on CD on 9 October and will feature tracks from right across the 70-year-old’s career from 1963 to the present day.

In a press release, a spokesperson said: 'Many of the sessions for these albums yielded extra recordings, which weren’t included on the albums they were intended for.'

The song, which is a collaboration with hip-hop star Pharrell, is taken from his new album The Origin of Love.

In the video released today (10 August), Mika is seen suffering from a serious case of writers block.

After throwing a small forest's worth of musical scribblings on to the floor around him, he heads off into the night looking for inspiration at various parties and nightclubs.
