Many were annoyed, but not THAT annoyed

When people woke up to find their iTunes had 'gifted' them a U2 album, many were annoyed.

But one Russian lawmaker is on a mission to stop Apple from ever doing anything similar again, claiming the company was distributing 'gay propaganda' to minors.

Alexander Starovoitov, a member of the right-wing LDPR party, said youths were 'corrupted' after they received U2's new album Songs Of Innocence in September 2014.

The lead artist of Marina and the Diamonds, the Primadonna singer says her LGBTI fans are very important to her but she has yet to do a lot publicly.

He calls himself ‘the most clinically insane cunt bitch up in the game’. Find out why here

In one of Cakes Da Killa's new tracks, he calls himself ‘the most clinically insane cunt bitch up in the game’.

This is apparently accurate, according to him.

Otherwise known as Rashard Bradshaw, this 23-year-old New York City rapper and artist is ambitious. So ambitious, he says, he's going to take on the world.

His second mixtape, The Eulogy, was a massive hit. He's been compared to acts like Lil' Kim, Cam'ron and Mykki Blanco.

Tweets saying true love only 'expressed between a man and a woman through marriage' result in backlash

Controversy was the furthest thing away from David Archuleta when as a high school teen, he sang his way to a runner-up finish during seven season of American Idol.

But over the weekend Archuleta found himself in hot water on social media after he posted a pair of tweets that were seen by many as his saying that gay couples could never achieve real love.

The tweets read in part that 'love is nourished by the coming of children, who spring from the fountain of love expressed between a man and woman in marriage.'

Once openly gay Josey Greenwell has rebranded himself as country singer Nate Green

A once out-and-proud gay country musician named Josey Greenwell did a sexy DNA spread and appeared on the cover of the 2012 Spartacus Gay Guide.

Then he faded from sight in 2013 and more than a year later, re-emerged with a new name, Nate Green - a country singer being marketed for straight audiences.

Steve Grand, the openly gay singer whose debut album All-American Boy was released this week, thinks the metamorphosis of Josey Greenwell to Nate Green is a sad one.

Madonna has a message for designers Dolce and Gabbana: 'Think before you speak.'

The Material Girl, who has been extremely high profile in recent weeks promoting her new album Rebel Heart, took to Instagram to deliver a message to the gay designers who have infuriated many.

'So grateful to all of you for making my dream come true'

When it comes to his music, Steve Grand insists on doing things his way.

His self-financed video All-American Boy got 1 million views in eight days back in the summer of 2013.

That led to a stupendously successful Kickstarter campaign that raised $326,593 and allowed him to record his debut album without a record company.

That album, All-American Boy, comes out 24 March.

On Monday (9 March), Grand took to social media to post the first photo of him with his dream project.

Queen bitch knows her fanbase

Madonna is to go on Grindr and chat with five fans to promote her new album Rebel Heart.

The hookup app is offering unapologetic bitches everywhere the chance to talk to the material girl herself.

While we can't assume what the lucky winner will chat about, we're assuming hanky panky is off the table.

Hopeful users who want to speak to the Queen of Pop have to do four things.

One, recreate the Rebel Heart album cover as their Grindr profile picture and use the hashtag #LivingForLove as their headline. Do not strangle yourself with cables.

Ricky Martin is not dead, and he's got a good way of showing it.

Over the weekend, the singer dispelled rumors that he was killed in a car wreck on a freeway in Los Angeles.

He took to Instagram, sending out a pic of his holiday destination and hashtagged it #heaven.

While it does look a little bit like heaven to us, the Washington Post claims the beach image is actually Culebra, Puerto Rico.

The hoax video, widely shared on social media, fooled a lot of the fans.

'Nick Jonas shaving his chest. This is something I just dream about'

Nick Jonas on Tuesday (11 November) agreed to play a game of 'crotchball' on Ryan Seacrest's radio show.

The singer and actor, in the middle of a publicity blitz for his new album, agreed to wear a hoop attached to his waist just above his crotch and allow Seacrest to throw a ball threw the hoop.

If Seacrest missed, Jonas had to agree to do a dare.

'This is much tamer than the stuff I've seen you do on social media,' Seacrest told Jonas.

On the third ball, Seacrest missed - quite purposely.
