Gay icon Kylie Minogue has made gay dreams come true, surprising one lucky fan with a performance at his local London gym.

Adam Milner was working out at The Factory Gym and Dance Centre without realizing his fellow gym bunnies were actually backing dancers.

With a burst of a glitter cannon, the petite pop singer showed up to sing her new single Into The Blue especially for him.

'I've been a fan of Kylie for as long as I can remember,’ Milner said

Itay Hod believes closeted politicians with anti-gay voting records should be outed: 'I made it very clear as to who I was talking about'

Itay Hod was already not a fan of Aaron Schock, a Republican congressman from Illinois who has toed the party line and consistently voted against pro-LGBT legislation.

But the openly gay freelance journalist, who worked for CBS News for several years, reached his boiling point earlier this month when he heard a story about Schock from a friend, a fellow reporter.

A woman has created another sure-fire viral hit as she records Jordin Sparks' Battlefield alongside a video of her pre-transition

A trans woman has recorded a duet with her pre-transition self.

Kayhar, who has previously documented her two-year transition, has now released a new video.

Before she transitioned, Kayhar recorded a version of Jordin Sparks’ Battlefield in 2008.

And now, in 2013, she has returned to the video and recorded a duet that she says has never been done before.

‘Progress for the trans community has been painfully slow,’ Kayhar said, in a statement to The Huffington Post.

Australian singer-songwriter Sia has donated the proceeds of a recent collaboration with rapper Eminem to the LA Gay and Lesbian Center over his use of the word ‘faggot’ on his latest album

Sia has donated the earnings of her collaboration ‘Beautiful Pain’ with US rapper Eminem over his use of the word ‘faggot’ on his recent The Marshall Mathers LP2 album to the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center.

In the song ‘Rap God’ on the same album Eminem raps that he will ‘break a motherf**ker’s table over the back of a couple off faggots and crack it in half,’ and ‘you fags think it’s all a game till I walk a flock of flames off a plank.’

Gay people and women are savagely degraded in the lyrics of Rap God, the second single from US rapper Eminem’s upcoming album

US rapper Eminem has no problem calling people ‘gay-looking boy’ and ‘faggot’ in his quickly-rapped new song Rap God.

While other hip-hop artists like 50 Cent are apologizing for using homophobic language in their previous hits, Eminem and his fans seem to show no compunction over the former Grammy winner using homophobic language.

It's been a busy seven days for DJ Mister Cee.

Last week. the popular New York City radio personality announced he was leaving his perch at Hot 97 due to another scandal involving a transgender sex worker.

This week he's back at his job, due to pleas from his program director. In addition, the DJ is telling people they no longer need to hide their sexuality, no matter the orientation.

Gay Star News meets the Iowa musician breaking the mould by creating authentic tunes for gay romance

When I was growing up, I spent a lot of time fantasizing my pop music heroes were possibly singing about boys instead of the attractive women that dominated their music videos.

While it still seems not everyone in the music industry is able to be publicly open about their sexuality, it’s really encouraging to see a number of talented musicians releasing honest and authentic music that’s also, thankfully, really good.

My current gay music crush is singer Eli Lieb who I caught up with recently.

Adam Lambert has dumped his record label because they wanted him to next do an album of  80s cover songs.

RCA Records has released Lambert's first two albums For Your Entertainment and Trespssing but they will not be releasing his third album which the singer wants to be comprised of original material.

A week after she came out to the world as a lesbian, singer Charice Pempengco is sharing that her girlfriend is Alyssa Quijano of the band AKA Jam.

'She's like my everything,' she told journalists this week.

The singer, widely known as Charice, is a Filipina superstar who became known outside her native country after appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show and landing a role on TV's Glee.

The mother of Filipina popstar and former Glee star Charice Pempengco, who came out as a lesbian last week, said that she used to be a lesbian too.

Raquel Pempengco said at at press conference in her home in Marikina City on Friday (7 June) that she used to have female lovers but her mother, Tess Relucio, pressurized her to marry a man and start a family.

Raquel and Ricky Pempengco ended-up separating and the couple's children, Charice and her brother Carl, were raised in their grandmother's house.

Charice Pempengco, who played Sunshine Corazon during the 2010-2011 seasons of Glee, has thanked her fans for staying with her after she came out as a lesbian.

The X Factor Philippines judge told a Philippines television show, ‘Yes, I’m a lesbian,' on June 2.

‘Now I feel free. I can go out of the house without fear and certain that I’m not stepping on anybody’s toe.’

After graduating from Pennsylvania-based liberal arts college Swarthmore, Baker won a $25,000 (US dollars, €19,000) Watson Fellowship that allows her to travel the world pursuing a particular project.

New York City DJ  Mister Cee will go on Hot 97's morning to show to explain his arrest for soliciting a male prostitute

Mister Cee, a popular DJ at the New York City radio station Hot 97, was reportedly arrested last week for soliciting a male prostitute.

According to the website Rod 2.0 (who linked to a Daily News article), the 46 year-old allegedly approached an undercover police officer. Cee, whose legal name is Calvin LeBrun, will appear on the station's morning show tomorrow (6 April) to explain last week's events.

A Norwegian comedy show tricked five young fans of the Canadian heartthrob to win free tickets for his concert in Oslo

Five teen girls were the unwitting victims in a TV show’s stunt which saw them ‘convert to Islam’ in order to receive free Justin Bieber concert tickets.

On a Norwegian comedy show, the young fans were forced to remove their make-up, put on hijabs, and repeat ‘Justin Bieber is impure and probably gay’ in Arabic.

The show’s host Ann-Kat Haerland defended the show, saying: ‘We wanted to find out how far Norwegian “Beliebers” are willing to go for tickets to one of Bieber’s concert.

Fher Olvera, the lead singer of Grammy-award winning band Maná, said: ‘all expressions of love are important’

Maná, the hugely popular Mexican rock band, has come out in support of gay marriage.

Earlier this week the band’s vocalist and guitarist Fher Olvera took to Facebook to send a positive message to the group’s eight million followers and fans.

Olvera, who married his wife Mónica Noguera last year, also included a link to a Youtube video from 2009 where New York state senator Diane Savino gave an inspiring speech about the then-pending marriage equality bill.

'Livin La Vida Loca' star will replace Keith Urban on the Australian singing competition show's second season

Gay Latino star Ricky Martin will be joining the coaching panel of The Voice for the Australian show’s second season.

The ‘Livin La Vida Loca’ singer’s new role after the superstar hinted at the role on Twitter yesterday (29 November).

‘Sending some mad love to everyone in #Australia! Can't wait to go back! Peace!’ he said.

He will replace country singer Keith Urban, who left the role in September to become a judge on American Idol.
