Actor Alan Cumming says he doesn't hold a grudge against Shia LaBeouf for grabbing his bum and other obnoxious behavior while attending a performance last June on Cabaret.

LaBeouf arrived at the Broadway show drunk and Cumming said he and other cast members were immediately aware there was a problem with the famous audience member.

'He was just wasted and he was wasted from the second he walked in,' Cumming told Conan O'Brien on Monday (20 October). 'Everyone was freaking out because someone seemed to be a crazy person shouting and stuff.'

The Boyzone singer's family and husband are battling over his estate

The family of late Boyzone singer Stephen Gately have said they will hire a private investigator for a fresh probe into his death.

They said they still had unanswered questions over his death while they battle with his husband over his £1.5 million ($2.42 million) estate.

Gately, 33, died of an undetected heart condition in October 2009 while on holiday in Majorca with his husband, Andrew Cowles. He was found slumped on a sofa after returning home from a gay club with a Bulgarian model they had just met.

Neil Patrick Harris has made no secret lately that he'd like a have some kind of a role in the enormously popular American Horror Story anthology series.

What the newly-named Oscar host had not made known until recently is that he and husband David Burtka had been asked to play a couple during the show's first season - the roles eventually played by Zachary Quinto and Teddy Sears.

The AHS couple died in an apparent murder/suicide and that's a big reason why Harris passed on it despite Burtka's wanting to do it.

Author Wyatt Cooper died of a heart attack in 1978 at the age of 50.

During a conversation on CNN this week with Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. about family genealogy, Cooper was asked which of his ancestors would he want to meet with today if he could.

After hosting the Emmys and the Tonys, he will be the first openly gay man to host Academy Awards

Neil Patrick Harris has finally landed the Holy Grail of award show hosting gigs: the Oscars.

Harris cleverly revealed the news himself in a video link on Twitter in which he can be seen on the telephone saying, 'I'm in.' Then he follows up by saying, 'Nice.'

That is followed by panning down to a 'bucket list' that has such things as 'write an autobiography' and 'get married.' At bottom of the list is 'host Oscars' and he places a check before that item.

If ever a baby was going to dance, you know it would happen in that family

On nearly every single tabloid magazine out there, there are reports that Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia De Rossi will be having a baby.

De Rossi appeared on her partner's daytime talk show to clear up the rumors once and for all.

'It would be so fun for everybody if we were,' de Rossi said of a pregnancy, but she insisted they were not.

'Everyone assumes that we really are having a baby, and we're just not sharing it,' DeGeneres told de Rossi. 'So we might be having a baby and we're just not sharing it.'

After drinking whiskey all day, he attended a performance of Cabaret on Broadway last June and at one point thought star Alan Cumming was winking at him.

The audience is seated at tables instead of traditional rows to simulate a nightclub and the cast moves among them.

LaBeouf made his move when Cumming walked past him.

Alan Cumming has, for the first time, gone public about growing up with a physically and emotionally abusive father who left him living in fear and shame.

'When he was abusing me, it was the only time he really noticed me,' Cumming tells dot429. 'So there’s that whole weirdness that was going on. My whole life has been imbued with the fact that my father didn’t love me. It’s a huge thing in my life.'

The View co-host, a victim of abuse herself, says: 'He's the Michael Landon of this generation'

Rosie O'Donnell, a victim of child molestation herself, expressed shock on The View Thursday (9 October) over allegations against 7th Heaven star Stephen Collins.

'It devastates everyone in the radius of that person because it's a shocking allegation,' O'Donnell said of Collins. 'For me, I always have my antennae up, having had a childhood with that.'

Collins, who played a pastor on the long-running TV drama, allegedly admits to molesting multiple children in a tape was released this week from a therapy session with his estranged wife, Faye Grant.

While lesbian co-host Rosie O'Donnell was joyous over the US Supreme Court letting the overturning of gay marriage bans in five states stand, it was the show's moderator Whoopi Goldberg who had the strongest words for opponents.

'You cannot stem this tide,' Goldberg said. 'It is coming whether you're comfortable with it or not.'

Senator David Leyonhjelm says the timing is not right now but he still aims to introduce the bill in the coming weeks or months

Australian Senator David Leyonhjelm has said he will postpone his gay marriage bill but he is still committed to introducing the legislation 'in a matter of weeks or months.'

The Liberal Democrat told the Australian newspaper that he will temporarily delay his Freedom to Marry bill, which was due this week, because of advice from the major parties.

He said, ‘Both sides of politics have suggested to me that timing this week is not optimum at the ­moment and if I want to win, rather than just do something symbolic, I need to wait.

Matt Bomer's feature film career is beginning to gain some serious momentum.

The openly gay actor with the leading man looks has been cast in the action-drama The Nice Guys with Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, according to Deadline Hollywood.

The film, scheduled to be a summer 2016 release, is set in the 1970s and takes place in 1970s Los Angeles.

George Clooney's Italian wedding may have gotten all of the attention over the weekend but Neil Patrick Harris points out that he got married in Italy first.

'Take that Clooney! I don't see you showing pictures of your wedding on talk shows!' Harris joked Monday (29 September) during an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Harris and his partner of 10 years David Burtka were married over the summer in a small Italian town near Perugia in front of about 50 guests which included Elton John.
