Liverpool councillors throw out plans to ban new bars and clubs from the gay district to cut crime
Liverpool leaders have voted against a proposed new policy that would have banned new bars and clubs from their city’s gay district.
Liberal Party leader Councillor Steve Radford lobbied against a ban on new drinking venues on the whole of the famous British port’s city centre put forward by Labour Councillors Steve Munby and Nick Small.
